Winning Ingredients
In the "Most Innovative Ingredient" category, SL took first place withSL BiOats Powder. Obtained from white oats, a domestically sourced raw material that ensures greater traceability in the process, the ingredient launched at the fair stands out for its flour modification characteristics and versatility in application. As such, it is recommended for the baking, confectionery, and sauce industries, and especially as a milk substitute without losing its sensory characteristics.
In the "Innovation in Sustainability" category, the company repeated last year's achievement and emerged victorious once again. The award recognized SL GlucOAT Syrup, an upcycled oat syrup. Manufactured from by-products of whole oat processing with fibers and proteins in its composition, the syrup is also a clean label solution for those seeking more natural and nutritious ingredients.
