SL Alimentos and "Arte Por Toda Parte" Transform Education in Mauá da Serra

We are excited to announce that"Arte Por Toda Parte"is back in Mauá da Serra. With great joy, the project, funded by SL Alimentos through resources from the Rouanet Law, will benefit nearly 400 students from Yukio Uemura Municipal School.

"Arte Por Toda Parte" is a cultural and educational initiative founded by artist Patrícia Reis de Souza Muniz, with the aim of promoting access to art and culture for children and young people, especially in communities and public schools. Through various artistic activities, the project seeks to stimulate creativity, individual and collective expression, and strengthen the sense of belonging and appreciation for local culture.

"Arte Por Toda Parte" which has one of its workshops awarded by UNESCO, is present in five locations in Brazil: Londrina (PR), Mauá da Serra (PR), Porto Alegre (RS) and the metropolitan region, Aporé (GO), and Monte Alto (SP). The project has already been implemented in schools in Santa Catarina and is negotiating the opening of a center in Espírito Santo.

In Londrina, the project began in May 2022 at Professor José Gasparini Municipal School, in the Farid Libos Housing Complex, in partnership with the Municipal Department of Education. Over five months, around 400 children and adolescents participated in the workshops, involving students, teachers, staff, and parents. This year, the project served a school for autistic children and adolescents and the Roberta Miranda Institute (instruction and work for the blind), with Braille materials and support from Viação Garcia.

The project promotes motor skills, creativity, and concentration through the workshops. "We see children overcoming some of their limits through the project, doing things they thought they couldn't," says Patrícia Muniz, creator of "Arte Por Toda Parte" and president of the Instituto Arte Por Toda Parte, based in Londrina with a branch in Linhares, Espírito Santo. So far, more than 16,000 young people between four and 16 years old have participated in about 550 workshops.

Throughout the year, we will share many happy faces and artistic productions on our social media that fill us with pride. Follow us and keep up with all the news. Let's transform education and culture in Mauá da Serra together!
